Explore and reflect on these helpful tips to connect with your emotions and allow them to express. Olivia goes in-depth on how to train yourself knowing this information.  Explore this and reflect if you are familiar with these areas.

  • Whether during peacetime, 
  • When things are going relatively well
  • When you are having a really hard day
  • In moments when you’re triggered by something that now requires your attention

Physical Well-Being – Focuses on self-care practices you should be doing regularly.  Relational/Social – Are you connecting with people who feel safe, who understand you, and with whom you feel supported? Are you sharing your true self without holding back?  Nervous System Regulation – Center yourself through breath.  Try breathing into your belly—just two minutes of deep breathing can help you recenter.  Emotion and Thought – Learn how to handle your emotions. Difficult times often involve sadness, anger, and fear in some form.  Fear – Often labeled as anxiety. It can appear as recurring thoughts of worry, and in more intense forms, as terror.  Anger – A form of energy that typically wants to be expelled outward.
